LIFE Programme: practical aspects of preparing an application and the experience of successful projects

A hybrid info session devoted to the practical aspects of taking part in LIFE Calls 2026: preparing the application, assembling the document package, budgeting the project proposal and the experience of organisations that already run successful LIFE projects.

Info session: LIFE Programme - practical aspects of preparing an application

Participants will learn about:

  • the structure and logic of preparing a LIFE Calls 2026 application;
  • the main sections of a project proposal and the requirements for the document package;
  • requirements for applicants and partners, and common mistakes when preparing an application;
  • budgeting a LIFE project proposal: estimate, cost categories, co-financing and budget justification;
  • the link between the budget, the work plan, expected results and the realism of the project;
  • the practical experience of organisations taking part in LIFE Programme projects.
