EU ecodesign and energy labelling requirements only work when they are complied with by suppliers and retail chains, and compliance takes resources - especially for small businesses.
Objectives
To reduce the share of incorrectly labelled products on the EU market and to level the playing field for compliant companies.
What is funded
- Practical guidance for suppliers and retailers.
- Self-assessment compliance tools.
- Advisory support (help desk).
- Training for suppliers and retail chains.
- Work with the EPREL database (European Product Registry for Energy Labelling).
- Cooperation with national market surveillance authorities.
Conditions
- Combined budget of all three PLP calls: €18 million
- Consortium: at least 3 applicants (beneficiaries, not affiliated entities) from 3 different eligible countries.
