LEEP
A Missing Link to Energy Efficient Performance of Buildings
About the project
LEEP aims to improve energy efficiency and cut emissions in multi-apartment buildings in Rivne by setting up an Energy Efficiency Office that works as a one-stop shop offering energy audits, technical assistance and support in accessing finance, and promotes energy efficiency among residents and building managers. Its objectives are to give Rivne condominiums access to modern integrated energy efficiency solutions and financial tools, and to demonstrate an example of integrated energy efficiency services in Ukraine. By the third project year it expects 10 more energy efficiency projects a year in condominiums and 50% more annual investment than the five-year pre-project average. Thirty projects in multi-apartment buildings are expected to deliver 3.42 GWh a year of primary energy savings and EUR 3.52 million of investment.
